Man City to name training pitch after Joe Hart

Manchester City are considering renaming a training ground after Joe Hart.

The Times says City could name one of their training pitches after Hart as they attempt to mark the goalkeeper's 12-year stay at the Etihad Stadium.

Hart brought his time at City to an end on Tuesday when he completed a £3.5million move to Burnley on an initial two-year contract.

And the Premier League champions are keen to recognise the contribution he made during their transformation from mid-table side to title winners.

Club officials are weighing up whether to name a pitch at the City Football Academy after the former England No 1.
