Ilaix Moriba will not train with Barcelona until his contract situation is settled.

A target for Manchester City, Ilaix is in talks with Barca about a pro deal.

Sport says last Thursday, the club sent their offer to his agents. It was a generous offer, financially and sporting. After analysing it, his agents replied with a counter offer. Barça asked for four or five days to take a decision.

Until that decision is made, Ilaix will not train with Barça to avoid injury. On Saturday, he turns 16 and can sign his first professional deal. Manchester City hoped to do a deal with him on Sunday but Barça's offer changed everything. If Barça now accept the conditions drawn up by his people, he will remain at the club.
