Manchester City striker Alvaro Negredo has no regrets leaving Real Madrid.
Negredo played at Real under his current City manager Manuel Pellegrini.
He recalled to AS: "That's the past. I was No9 for the Castilla. I did the preseason with the first team, just with Pellegrini, and back then they had five forwards, not like now with only Karim Benzema and Alvaro Morata.
"It was complicated and the best option was to leave.
"I do not regret my decision, working little by little I have grown much more."
