Stevan Jovetic will undergo a medical with Inter Milan this week.

The 25-year-old Montenegrin striker has left Manchester City's tour of Vietnam to travel to Italy ahead of his expected move to the San Siro.

Jovetic has been linked with an Etihad Stadium departure for much of the summer and it appears as though his move will be finalised early this week.

An Inter statement read: "Jovetic will arrive in Milan tomorrow before undergoing a medical on Tuesday."

Nerazzurri boss Mancini recently revealed that he attempted to sign Jovetic from Fiorentina when he was manager at City, prior to the attacker's arrival in the summer of 2013.

"I already tried to sign Jovetic in my last season with Manchester City but he arrived when I was gone," he said.

"He can play as a focal point or as a support striker but could also feature on the wings."
