Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is not aware of interest from Italian side Roma.
After struggling for regular first team football last season, Dzeko has been linked with a move away from the Etihad stadium this summer and Italian giants Roma have been seen as a possible destination for the striker.
Recent reports have claimed that Dzeko is desperate to join Roma and is ready to take a pay cut in order to facilitate the move. Dzeko's intentional teammate Miralem Pjanic has also fueled the speculation by stating the striker would 'run' to Rome if given the opportunity.
However, Dzeko agent, Irfan Redzepagic, has moved on to refute such reports and has stated that the striker is not aware about Roma's interest.
"I was frankly surprised by Pjanic's comments, unless he knows something that I don't," Redzepagic told Rete Sport.
"I have had no contact with Roma, nor am I aware of any talks between the two clubs."
