Manchester City striker David Faupala has opened the door to a return to France.

Faupala, 19, joined City from Lens.

He told Madeinfoot: "I'd like to return to France with a L1 or L2 club. It would allow me to gain experience.

"Since I was little I always liked Saint-Etienne, but there are many good clubs in France for young people like me: Bordeaux, Guingamp, Caen, Nice.

"Ligue 1 or Ligue 2, the two are interesting. It will depend on the project of the club, its squad, etc."
