Wilfried Bony has stated that a move to Stoke City was the best option for him this summer.

Bony sealed a loan move to Stoke on deadline day and the striker will now surely be looking forward to revive his career at the Bet365 Stadium following a torrid 18 months at Manchester City.

Bony has been left pleased after sealing the switch to Stoke and has stated that the move to join the Potters was the best choice for his career.

The striker said: "Stoke is the best choice for me.

"The most important thing is to enjoy football. I need to play and enjoy life so that is why I'm coming here.

"I will try to show the fans my best, we will fight for them and I hope they will support us for the rest of the season."
