Manchester City striker Craig Bellamy is in danger of missing the remainder of the season.
The Welshman injured his knee in City's UEFA Cup defeat to Hamburg in the quarter-final first leg earlier this month and has struggled ever since.
City boss Mark Hughes says that rest may the best option for Bellamy.
"Craig's got to have complete rest for two weeks and then he can come back for some strength work," Hughes told the club's official website.
"Hopefully he might get the last couple of games, but the probability is that he won't."
