Man City still view West Ham midfielder Rice as 'top priority'

Manchester City have made West Ham United midfielder Declan Rice a priority for the summer transfer window.

The Sky Blues are eager to recruit a quality midfielder to take over from veteran Fernandinho.

And TheAthletic says Pep Guardiola wants to make an approach to West Ham for Rice.

The England international has also been linked with Chelsea and Manchester United in recent months.

West Ham are loathe to sell the 22-year-old, but he has not renewed his contract, and City may be able to offer enough money to tempt the London club into a sale.
