Man City star Sterling ponders lucrative Jordan Brand boots deal

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling is considering a UK£100 million (US$121 million) offer to be one of the first soccer players to pen a personal endorsement deal to wear Jordan Brand boots, according to the Telegraph, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/.

The 24-year-old is currently in the final year of his boot deal with Nike, which owns Jordan Brand, and is one of soccer's hottest marketing properties.

Jordan Brand only made its first foray into the soccer market last season when it announced a deal with French champions Paris Saint-Germain to provide the team's kit for the Uefa Champions League.

Now Jordan Brand, which is yet to market soccer boots, is reportedly taking its soccer approach into personal endorsement with Sterling. The Telegraph has reported the boot deal could be one of the most lucrative boot deals in history, depending on the length of the contract.

The forward is reportedly attracting interest from a number of high-profile brands, including Gillette and H&M, and has become a prominent figure off the pitch.
