Manchester City star Bernardo Silva wants a favour from their neighbours.

City were rampant against Chelsea, winning 6-0 and are top of the league on goal difference, but Liverpool have a game in hand.

But they know that only Liverpool dropping points will let them win the league, as the two teams have already concluded their two clashes for this season.

And Silva hopes that United can get a result against Liverpool next weekend.

"Of course it is better if [Liverpool] lose some points," Silva said to reporters when asked about their upcoming United game.

"But I think all of us, not only the manager but all of the players, have been saying to focus on our job. If we don't win our games, it doesn't matter what they do so that is the most important thing now."
