Manchester City are seeking a summer deal for Sporting CP midfielder Matheus Nunes.
That is according to A Bola, with the Portuguese source stating that Nunes would be a Fernandinho replacement at the Etihad Stadium club.
The 36-year-old has served City incredibly over the past several years, but is now past his prime.
Manager Pep Guardiola may see this summer as the ideal time to secure 23-year-old Nunes to rotate with Rodri.
The report goes on to state that Sporting want roughly €40 million for Nunes' signature.
