Manchester City are eyeing Barcelona striker Antoine Griezmann.
Ok Diario says City see Griezmann as an alternative to Tottenham striker Harry Kane.
The France attacker would be available for a lesser fee and City also know Barca are interested in several of their players, so setting up the prospect of a swap arrangement.
City manager Pep Guardiola recently met with Barca president Joan Laporta to discuss several of eachother's players.
Further strengthening City's hand is the need for Barca to make a major sale to help in negotiations to secure Lionel Messi to a new contract. Messi is currently a free agent as Barca seek to free up funds in order to secure the Argentine to a new deal.
Griezmann joined Barca two years ago from Atletico Madrid for a fee of €120m. The World Cup winner could be sacrificed by Laporta after the arrival of Sergio Aguero from Manchester City on a free transfer.
