Vincent Kompany has warned Real Madrid that the scoreline his Manchester City will take into next week's Champions League semi-final second leg is dangerous for the Spaniards.
City were able to produce a fairly positive 0-0 result at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday night and according to captain Kompany, the return bout at the Santiago Bernabeu next Wednesday could play into the hands of the visitors if they manage to land themselves a desirable away goal.
"0-0 is a dangerous score," said the Belgian centre-half.
"The moment we manage to score in Madrid it will be a very different game.
"It's hard to keep a clean sheet against such a good attacking side.
"Overall, we can proud of what we have achieved in the first leg of this tie. We couldn't have wished for more at this stage. There are 90 minutes with it all to play for next week."
Real Madrid will have leading scorer Cristiano Ronaldo back on the pitch next week after the Portuguese ace failed a late fitness prior to the clash in Manchester which will make the task all the more difficult for Kompany and his City side.
