Manchester City signing Metinho has posted a farewell to social media after leaving Fluminense.

Metinho has been earmarked for an initial loan move to City Football Group sister club Troyes to gain valuable experience and boost his work permit application. Some reports say he will sign a five-year permanent contract at Troyes in Ligue 1.

Metinho said: "I'll miss my family and friends a lot, but I know that God is in control and I'm going in search of my dreams and goals, may God bless me in this new challenge Faith in the journey."
