Man City signing Gundogan excited to take on Man Utd, Arsenal...and Stoke

Manchester City signing Ilkay Gundogan is looking forward to facing his new club's rivals Manchester United and Arsenal next season.

The 25-year-old, who arrived in a £21million move from Borussia Dortmund, is currently recovering from a dislocated knee but is keen to get back to full fitness so he can be a part of the Manchester derby while also pitting his wits against Germany teammate Mesut Ozil.

However, Gundogan is also keen to take on such clubs as Mark Hughes' Stoke City, who are knocking on the door of the top five or six in England.

"Of course the derby," he told The Sun when asked which games he is looking forward to.

"Also the games against Arsenal will be interesting against my friend Mesut Ozil.

"These two games will be really nice but also the experience of the Premier League - clubs like Stoke City, who are not so far away."
