Manchester City are willing to offer £30m in order to beat out rivals Manchester United to the signature of AC Milan wonderkid Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to The Daily Mail.
The 18-year old goalkeeper has already made 70 appearances for the Milan first team, and this season has seen him accumulate 11 clean sheets.
Milan see Donnarumma as a key figure for their future plans to dethrone Juventus at the top of the Serie A. However, City also view Donnarumma as someone who could potentially become the best keeper in the world, and their willing to test Milan's resolve by bidding £30m for his services.
It is reported that if David De Gea were to leave Manchester United this summer, Jose Mourinho would prefer to replace him with somebody with more experience than Donnarumma, although he is interested in the Italian's potential.
