Manchester City believes they can sign their second player from Monaco in a week by securing French left-back Benjamin Mendy.
The Citizens shocked the Premier League by signing Bernardo Silva from the principality club for £43m on Friday.
And now, Express reports City is prepared to launch a £38m bid to beat out both Manchester United and Liverpool to sign Mendy.
Barcelona and Juventus are also said to be interested in the 22-year old.
It is reported that City got the head start on negotiations with Monaco whilst they secured the signing of Silva.
Pep Guardiola's squad contains one experienced full-back after the club released Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna last week.
