Manchester City are sending winger Valdimir Weiss to Rangers because they offered a bigger fee than Glasgow rivals Celtic.
The 20-year old Slovakia international is heading to Ibrox for a medical before signing a loan deal on Thursday and his move will feel like a mini victory to the 'Gers, beating off competition from their arch enemies.
Weiss joined City from Inter Bratislava's youth academy in 2006 and during his time at Eastlands has experienced a loan spell with Bolton which took place last season.
