Manchester City are ready to make a swap bid for Sporting CP wing-back Nuno Mendes.

O Jogo says City are tracking Mendes and are exploring the possibility of a swap deal plus cash for the 18-year-old.

As the Sky Blues prepare to battle it out with other clubs to secure his services, Pep Guardiola is ready to offer Spaniard Pedro Porro to Sporting as part of a deal.

Porro spent this season on loan at the Portuguese club from City and was named in the Primeira Liga Team of the Season.

Guardiola will look to take advantage of this and include the 21-year-old in the club's proposal.

Sporting's asking price for the defender is understood to be £51million.
