Manchester City have acquired Enzo Maresca to serve as Pep Guardiola's number two.
The 42-year old was in charge of the club's development squad in 2020.
A deal has now been agreed for Maresca, who has a fantastic reputation in Europe, to return to the Etihad, per the Daily Mail.
The Italian left City to manage Parma, but he lost his job last November.
Maresaca enjoyed a playing career with stints at West Bromwich Albion, Juventus and Sevilla.
