Manchester City full-back Aleksandar Kolarov has opened the door to a potential return to Italy.
The Serbia international, 29, is a reported target for former club Lazio as well as Inter Milan who are managed by ex-City boss Roberto Mancini.
Kolarov has revealed that he is not averse to again playing in Serie A while hinting at a reunion with former Serbia boss Sinisa Mihajlovic who is currently in charge at Sampdoria.
"I'd like to return to Italy, but it's difficult," Kolarov told Sky Italia. "I'm happy for Sinisa Mihajlovic; he's doing very well, as are Lazio.
"They're having a great season and I hope they can end it in third or even second place."
