Manchester City's Fernando has revealed that he has not yet fully adjusted to the rigours of the Premier League.
The Brazilian midfielder, 27, joined City from FC Porto in the summer but admits it has been a difficult task settling in England and learning the ropes of a brand new club as well as competition.
"It's really hard," Fernando told the Daily Mail.
"I haven't reached my level here yet and the language is a problem. The Premier League is very challenging.
"This season has gone OK, I think, but I'm hoping my next season will be a lot better."
