Man City's Celtic loanee Guidetti to learn fate this week

John Guidetti will find out on Thursday if he is to be punished by the Scottish Football Association.

The Swedish striker, who is on loan at Celtic from Manchester City, will face a disciplinary panel on April 30 after having the initial hearing postponed from April 9.

Guidetti told Dutch TV show FC Rijnmond that Celtic fans sang a chant about him relating to the demise of Glasgow rivals Rangers.

The 22-year old repeated the song which includes the words 'hun' and 'deid' - the latter being Glasgow slang for 'dead' - pertaining to Rangers falling into liquidation in 2012.

SFA compliance officer Tony McGlennan said that Guidetti had made a comment of offensive nature and the player will now learn his fate at the hearing at Hampden Park on Thursday.
