Manchester City have jumped into the battle for Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

The Daily Mail says City will continue to rival Manchester United for Wan-Bissaka.

The 21-year-old is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in his position and particularly impressed City when he starred in Palace's 3-2 win at Eastlands in December.

City are weighing up a number of additions as they prepare for the possibility of a transfer ban amid investigations into their past recruitment of young overseas players.

Valued at around £40million, Wan-Bissaka would crucially boost their homegrown quota also but City know they face competition from United with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer a confirmed fan.
