Manchester City have announced shirt numbers for new signings Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres.

Ake will wear the number six shirt for City in the coming season.

The Blues have confirmed that Ferran Torres will take the number 21 vacated by David Silva, and announced that Ake will get the number last worn by Fernando four years ago.

Before that, the number six was worn by Joleon Lescott and Michael Johnson.

Ake signed for the Blues in a £41milion package earlier this month and is expected to report for pre-season training after returning from international duty with Holland next week.
