Manchester City are returning to the negotiating table for Valencia winger Juan Mata.
City and Chelsea have been in contact with Valencia over the last month for the Spain international.
The News of the World says Mata has emerged as a £20million target for Manchester City.
City boss Roberto Mancini wants to add the guile of Mata to his midfield for next season's Champions League tilt.
