Man City retain interest in Koulibaly, Torres after agreeing Ake deal

Manchester City are not stopping at Nathan Ake as they shop for defenders this summer.

English sources had earlier reported the agreement of a fee with Bournemouth for Ake.

ESPN says even if City complete the signing of Ake, they could also sign one of Kalidou Koulibaly (Napoli) and Pau Torres (Villarreal).

It appears both Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones could be surplus to requirements at City.

Pep Guardiola is not happy with how many goals his team conceded in the Premier League, especially in the early parts of the campaign.

And the Catalan wants reliable defenders to partner or take the place of Aymeric Laporte, when he is not fully fit.
