Man City renew push for Espanyol's Zabaleta

Manchester City are making a new move for Espanyol wing-back Pablo Zabaleta.

The Argentina right back was originally scouted under guidance from Sven Goran Eriksson but had also figured on Mark Hughes' radar while the manager was at Blackburn.

The chances of him going to City looked to have diminished with Eriksson's departure but Hughes is still interested. Zabaleta, who has a Spanish passport, has also been monitored by Juventus and both Milan clubs and would cost around £10million.
