Manchester City are ready to hit AWOL Carlos Tevez with a £750,000 fine.
The Daily Mail says City have told Carlos Tevez to return to the club immediately and face a possible fine in excess of £750,000 after the former captain skipped training to stay in Argentina.
City believe Tevez ignored two lots of specific instructions to remain in Manchester and train this week, and instead flew home to South America on Monday night.
Sources say he could face a three-week fine to go with the £500,000 he has paid for the Munich dispute. He can expect to be fined two weeks' wages under standard disciplinary procedure.
But since he has just come out of one disciplinary process, PFA rules do permit this latest fine to be extended to three weeks' wages - more than £750,000 for Tevez.
