Manchester City have prioritised the signing of Tottenham fullback Kyle Walker after Daniel Alves decided to join Paris Saint Germain.
Pep Guardiola is desperate to boost his fullback stocks after City released Pablo Zabaleta, Gael Clichy and Bacary Sagna.
But Walker won't come cheap, with the Daily Mail reporting that Spurs are demanding £50m for the England international.
However, City have not budged from their £40m evaluation.
Tottenham chief Daniel Levy is banking on City's desperation to help him get the desired amount of money.
