Valencia are set to launch a bid to re-sign the defender in the January window.

The 25-year-old Portugal star is liked by Pep Guardiola but simply does not get enough game time after being unsuccessful in his bid to replace Kyle Walker as first choice right-back.

Cancelo spent three seasons between 2015 and 2018 at Valencia and now it looks like he could be on his way back.
