Manchester City are prepared to lose young winger Ian Carlo Poveda.

The Manchester Evening News says City are willing to let Poveda leave the club as he enters the last six months of his contract.

Poveda, 19, has played 11 times for the Under-23 side this season, but has only made the matchday squad once in the Carabao Cup win over Southampton at the Etihad where he was an unused substitute.

He can leave the club either in January or in the summer.

Leeds United are interested in signing the 19-year-old as they look to bolster their squad and secure promotion to the Premier League. Parma are also keen.
