Manchester City are preparing to turn their interest in Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba into a firm bid, according to Sky Sports.

Pogba spent two seasons at rivals Manchester United where he struggled to make an impact, being given just a handful of substitute appearances for the first team before leaving for Italy.

The 22 year old Italian international, currently valued at £58m, has already been the subject of intense transfer speculation this summer, with reported interest from Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Chelsea and City.
