Manchester City had scouts posted in August to see Nice's win at Lyon.

Le 10 Sport says City were taking a close look at Nice midfielder Wylan Cyprien.

Cyprien has just returned from long-term injury and City will be keeping tabs on his progress this season.

However, the midfielder wasn't the only player interesting City on the day.

Also on their radar are Lyon trio Tanguy Ndombele, Nabil Fekir and Ferland Mendy.
