Man City players confronted Guardiola after Spurs defeat: Stop tinkering!

Manchester City players confronted manager Pep Guardiola about his tactical changes after defeat at Tottenham on Saturday.

The Daily Mail says Guardiola's side were kept in the dressing room for a 45-minute inquest following the final whistle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

And it's claimed that the meeting saw some players senior raise concerns over their manager's frequent rotation of players and tactics over the course of the season.

Guardiola has not fielded the same starting XI in back-to-back matches since the start of the campaign and has also regularly altered his formations since Mikel Arteta's departure in December.

His 76 team changes are the most of any other manager in the Premier League this season, with 16 more than Chelsea boss Frank Lampard in second and 30 more than Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
