Manchester City are ready to bid in January for two young players.

The Times says City are ready to boost manager Pep Guardiola's squad with a double January raid.

On City's shopping list are Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal and Benfica defender Ruben Dias.

Recognising there's holes in the current City squad, the champions have identified Dias as a readymade replacement for former skipper Vincent Kompany.

Oyarzabal, meanwhile, would arrive as a potential replacement for Bayern Munich target Leroy Sane.
