Man City plan bid for Almeria striker Umar Sadiq

Manchester City are eyeing Almeria striker Umar Sadiq.

The Nigerian centre-forward has just completed a career best season in Spain, where his form has attracted interest from Sevilla and Villarreal.

AS says City are also keen, with the City Football Group (CFG) having plans to sign Sadiq ahead of loaning him to French outfit Troyes.

CFG plan to sign the former Rangers striker and send him on-loan to Troyes for the season following their return to Ligue 1.

Last term, Sadiq scored 20 goals in 38 appearances for Almeria.
