Manchester City duo Pablo Zabaleta and Sergio Aguero are the only Premier League players to be selected in the Argentina squad for next month's friendly with Romania.
Alejandro Sabella named a 22-man squad for the meeting with the Romanians on March 5 with usual suspects Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano and Gonzalo Higuain all present.
Some glaring omissions include Juventus striker Carlos Tevez and Inter Milan veteran midfielder Esteban Cambiasso who were not picked by Sabella.
Following the Romania fixture, Argentina take on Trinidad & Tobago and Slovenia in June before the 2014 World Cup where they will come up against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Iran and Nigeria in Group F.
