Talk of Ajax coach Erik ten Hag eventually ending up at Manchester City is gathering pace.
While the Dutchman is a target for Manchester United, he has also been mentioned in the mix at City as a successor for Pep Guardiola.
It's now emerged SEG, which manage Ten Hag, have reached a collaboration agreement with Pere Guardiola's management firm. Pere is the brother of Pep Guardiola.
The decision by SEG to join forces with Guardiola, reports De Telegraaf, is driven by doing their best by Ten Hag, who is prepared to leave Ajax - but only for an elite club.
SEG lack the connections and lobbying power of Guardiola and it's hoped a collaboration will secure Ten Hag a move to a European powerhouse in 2022.
