Manchester City are eager to hold onto young defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says City will open talks with Adarabioyo over a new contract after a second impressive season on loan in the Championship.

Adarabioyo was a regular for Blackburn this season, with his loan ending at the end of the Championship season last week.

He will return to City for talks over a contract extension.

The report says City would then look to send him out on loan to a Premier League side next season.
