Manchester City are closing on a deal for Fluminense prospect Metinho.

The 18 year-old attacker is in advanced talks with City over a contract.

Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports City are close to settling on a five-year contract with Metinho, who will immediately move to Europe this summer.

City plan to place the youngster next season on-loan at French satellite club Troyes.

Troyes agreed to join the City Football Group earlier this season and there's plans for City to send more and more of their foreign signings to the French outfit.
