Manchester City have entered new contract talks with Raheem Sterling.
That's according to Gazzetta dello Sport's Nicolo Schira, with City's plans to extend Sterling's current contract and raise his wages.
Schira posted to social media: "Manchester City are in talks to extend Raheem Sterling's contract until 2024 with a new wages of €20M a year."
The news arrives as Sterling is being linked with Real Madrid.
Real president Florentino Perez is a fan of Sterling and is attracted to his earning power off the pitch - along with what he can offer on it.
