Manchester City boss Mark Hughes wants a reunion with David Bentley.

Hughes helped Bentley produce his best football while they were together at Blackburn Rovers and wants to bring the Tottenham midfielder to Eastlands in January.

The Daily Star says Hughes is willing to offer Martin Petrov plus cash to Spurs in exchange for the floundering Bentley.
