Manchester City's Joe Hart insists he is not resting on his laurels regarding his spot in the England national team.
The 28-year old has already amassed 50 caps for the Three Lions but knows his place is never safe with the amount of quality keepers in and around the national team setup right now.
"I have known I have got to be on my toes from day one - from when I was trying to get into the Shrewsbury Town first team as a kid, and it's the same when I am trying to remain as England No 1," he told the Daily Mirror.
"There are a lot of good English keepers out there.
"Jack Butland is getting his chance at Stoke, Ben Foster and Fraser Forster have been unbelievable all season, then unfortunate through injury, and as bad a season that QPR have had, Rob Green has been their one shining light."
