Manchester City are willing to send Julian Alvarez to Olympique Marseille for the new season.
The Argentina international is due to start preseason with City after spending the second-half of last season with River Plate.
TyC Sports says a move to OM is being discussed at City, were assistant manager Juan Manuel Lillo has made contact with Marseille coach Jorge Sampaoli to discuss the deal.
Lillo and manager Pep Guardiola believe a year away at OM would best serve Alvarez as he arrives at the same time as Erling Haaland does from Borussia Dortmund.
For his part, Sampaoli would be happy to take on Alvarez for the new season.
