Manchester City midfielder Raheem Sterling has urged Jadon Sancho to grab his chance at Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho, the 18-year-old who left Manchester City to join Borussia Dortmund in 2017, has been lighting up the Bundesliga, and has impressed during his first three caps for the England side.

"Football is a competition," said Sterling in an interview with The Times.

"Me and Jadon are friends off the field, someone I really want to see do well, someone I try to help, tell him little things I've learnt, like buckle down quicker than I did. Don't wait until you're 21."
