Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has proved he is much more than a lethal scorer.

That is according to his teammate and defensive midfielder Rodri, who heaped praise on Haaland.

The Norway striker has been a revelation in the Premier League, winning the Golden Boot and leading City to a third straight Premier League title.

“He's been incredible for us this season," said Rodri.

“Not only for the fact he's been scoring goals, but also that he wants to learn and improve and fit into the team.

“I watch him now and he's not playing in the same way as he did at the start of the season. He can drop, he can play one touch, he can keep the ball, he can turn, he can score – many things.

“He's so young and he has the hunger to keep improving. He deserves everything because he's so good with the team and he gives everything."
