Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan says he's still learning to play in Fernandinho's role.

Gundogan has stepped in for the injured Brazilian.

"I think you can always learn, especially when you play in a different position like I do in the last few weeks," he said.

"I also think the more you play, the better you feel the more comfortable you feel. By repeating the games every three or four days you get a better feeling for how you have to behave.

"To be there in the duels, it doesn't matter if it is aerial or on the ground, I adjust my type of game but as I said the more I play this role the more I feel comfortable even though it is still not my main position. If I can help my team, I am more than happy."
