Man City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has resumed light training following a lengthy injury layoff.

The 26-year-old hasn't played for the Citizens since suffering a cruciate ligament injury against Watford in December.

The German midfielder, who joined City from Borussia Dortmund in a £20million move last summer, now expects to join Pep Guardiola's side for the pre-season tour of the US.
